On Thursday 3rd September, Rev. James Blyth organised a small wreath-laying ceremony at the school War Memorial to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the start of the Second World War. The photograph below shows (left to right) Rev. Douglas Aitken with Former Pupils Mr J Arthur Colman and Rev. James Blyth. Also present were Mrs Nancy Colman, Mr Jack Hutchison (FP) and Mrs Janet Carolan, School Archivist (FP).
