Teams are challenged to turn a Prince’s Trust investment of £3000 into a profit of at least £20000. Starting with a launch on 27th or 28th August each team will develop an idea and business plan and submit it to the school and The Prince’s Trust Scotland by 19th September. After approval, the Trust will invest £3000 in the project and assign you an inspirational mentor.

• Participants develop their skills in team- work, leadership, negotiation, project management and communication.
• Schools can potentially develop a fundraising mechanism to meet community/ charity objectives, for many years to come.
• Benefit from an improved profile in their community, and enjoy local and national publicity.
• There will be a prize for the winning school
• A team-building event to give you the chance to meet other teams and be fully briefed by The Trust.
• A Prince’s Trust mentor will support your team throughout the challenge
• Additional support, providing project management skills, will be provided by a corporate volunteer throughout the challenge.
• Networking and skills development events will provide additional support during the six month period.
