Welcome to Argyll House! A truly unique house with panoramic views of the Ochil Hills, the girls who live in Argyll House are as varied and interesting as the ever changing beautiful view from its sash windows.  Built after 1870, Argyll House was once a private prep school and then a boarding house for boys!

It is now a beautifully refurbished Victorian home to 23 girls from all over the globe.  Run as a family home, it is the perfect place to combine studying towards academic success and growing into a mature, independent, confident young woman.  This is not just any house, this is Argyll House.

The girls in Argyll House have a choice of bedrooms to live in each year.  Our younger boards have great fun sharing a room with one or two other girls.

Our older girls who need to have more dedicated study time, where possible, are offered a private single room perfect for studying.  There are fantastic wash room facilities with power showers and a cosy bathroom for bubble baths.

The house have a dedicated movie and Wii room and the main common room can be used for a variety of purposes including snooker, karaoke, games nights and pamper sessions.  The house has a fully equipped ‘prep’ room with 7 computers and a baby grand piano to aid studying.  The girls can also chill out there and read the newspapers which are delivered daily.

The supper kitchen is where the girls have an evening snack prepared for them, along with some home baking on occasion.  It is also available for the girls to make their own snacks and drinks.
