HRH Prince Edward visited Dollar Academy in order to meet pupils and staff who are involved in the Duke of Einburgh Award Scheme. He spent 40 minutes in the Captain's Room, where he was warmly received by Rector, John Robertson, and a group of staff and pupils who were involved in last session's expedition programme. The Earl of Wessex listened with genuine interest to expedition stories, and enjoyed the chance to see maps and pictures of the routes. Katie Trim (FP) was also present, and described her gap year in Africa, funded through the generosity of the Cameron Trust.
