Prep 3 Visit to Falkirk Wheel

 

Prep 3 have been working on Forces Around Us .  In class they have been looking at how force can make things change and how forces can move things.  To complement this, they enjoyed a trip to the Falkirk Wheel.  Here they had a ride on the amazing boat lift and saw how this feet of engineering has made travelling by canal boat from the west coast to the east coast possible.  Despite the very tricky science the children thoroughly enjoyed their  day out.
