Prep 1 Vane Farm Visit

Prep 1 recently visited Vane Farm Bird Reserve.  They spent time demonstrating their knowledge of birds and the environment.  They did some pond dipping and learned about the different species of pond life.  Some of the children were able to observe birds on Loch Leven and others climbed up the hill to learn about owls and bats.  All of the children were encouraged to bring an “Eco” lunch in an effort to cut down on the packaging being thrown into the rubbish bins at the end of picnic time!  The sun shone for most of the day and everyone really enjoyed their trip.
