Chemistry meets Fabric Technology!!

Dr Beveridge came to the Fabric Technology Room to discuss his Form II project  which involves string being organically dyed by using natural substances such as onion skins and blueberries. Mrs Maciver and Dr Beveridge discussed the possibility of the pupils weaving the dyed string into a small oblong shape to make into a bookmark.  Dr Beveridge took a trip down memory lane to rediscover the basics in using a cardboard loom, a large bodkin and some yarn.
