Although the annual visit to Salamanca was short, we managed to fit plenty in. Classes in the mornings provided valuable educational experiences, while trips out in the afternoon to markets, old Spanish towns and the Santiago Bernabeu (the Real Madrid Football Stadium) encouraged a lot of laughs and memories within the group of about 29. The day trip to Madrid Warner Brother theme park was probably the most enjoyable day, as we were able to spend the whole day on rollercoasters! Disappointingly, the weather, which brought temperatures as low as -2 degrees some mornings, worked hard to dampen our trip. We found that in the evenings, despite our beautiful surroundings in the Plaza Mayor, we were all ready to go back to our warm beds. But, nevertheless, the trip was packed with so many moments of laughter and I'm sure everyone would love to take part in it again.
