This year, from 30 March until 6 April, 43 pupils made the annual visit to Ulmen in Germany. Highlights, in addition to the time spent speaking German with the host families, included:

• A tour of the Rheinland
• A visit to the 'Wolves and Deer' mini-themepark
• Shopping in the old Roman town of Trier
• A visit to the ancient Roman amphitheatre
• Swimming in the Cochem 'Erlebnisbad'
• A Germany v Scotland international football match (the result of which will remain untold...)
• A day in 'Phantasialand' near Cologne

All of those who participated gained a great deal from the trip, and the pictures below give a flavour of the experience.
