Junior Technology

In each year the pupils work through projects that are based around the three courses offered at examination level. Each project is designed to develop their understanding of the Design Process and enable them to work independently through sections of future projects.

PREP 5 – The two projects undertaken in this year are; Land Yacht and Photo Frame

Junior 1 – The two projects undertaken in this year are; Key Fob and Stay Safe

Junior 2 - The three projects undertaken in this year are; Desk Organiser and Fat Facts

Form I - The three projects undertaken in this year are; Fun @ the Fair, Snake!! and Re-Duce/Re-Use/Re-Cycle

Form II - The three projects undertaken in this year are; Garden Spy, Dreaming of Memphis and Property Developer.

Form III – Pupils may elect to take one or more of the three options available to them in the Technology Department. Using their experiences in Junior Technology to guide them they can make an informed decision knowing what each course entails and their aptitude towards the skills used when undertaking it.
