Chris Paterson Kicking Masterclass at Dollar Academy

Scottish Rugby Internationalist Chris Paterson held a kicking master-class for pupils at Dollar Academy on 16th November.

The school, whose U-16 team  have just qualified for the Brewin Dolphin Schools’ Cup Final, has a reputation for nurturing rugby talent.  John Barclay, Graeme Morrison and Rory Lawson are all recent former pupils.

Chris Paterson has over 100 caps for Scotland and is renowned for his accurate kicking.  He is currently signed at Edinburgh Rugby, the former club of new Dollar PE teacher and rugby coach Mr Rob Moffatt.

Commenting on his visit, Mr Steve Newton, Head of PE said: “We’re delighted to have Chris visit us today and to spend time with the boys.  This is a great opportunity for them to hone their techniques under the guidance of a world-class player.”
