Introduction

This will be our 37th tour! The next one will not be until 2012.

 

We will be returning yet again to Les Menuires in France. Our first visit to this resort was in 1984 and thanks to an excellent hotel, massive ski area, very modern lift system, good after-skiing activities and reliable snow conditions, we have made it our home since 1997. Indeed, the popularity of this resort with both pupils and staff is such that all of the tours since 1997 have been well overbooked, with two tours taking 190 members.

 

Our tour company is SkiBound with whom we have been travelling since 1990. SkiBound are a member of the First Choice Travel Group and their tours all have ATOL protection. Amazingly, even SkiBound's resort manager has been working with us in Les Menuires since 1990 (although in those days he was the ski technician)!

 

For 2010 we have a maximum allocation of only 104 pupil beds so we expect that demand for places will exceed supply!
