Introduction
This will be our 39th tour! The next one will not be until 2016.
We will be returning yet again to Les Menuires in France. Our first visit to this resort was in 1984 and thanks to an excellent hotel, massive ski area, very modern lift system, good after-skiing activities and reliable snow conditions, we have made it our home since 1997. Indeed, the popularity of this resort with pupils is such that all of the tours since 1997 have been full to capacity.
Our tour company is SkiBound with whom we have been travelling since 1990. SkiBound are a member of the First Choice Travel Group and their tours all have ATOL protection. Amazingly, even SkiBound's resort manager has been working with us in Les Menuires since 1997 (although in those days he was the ski technician)!
Dates
The tour dates are from Saturday 29th March to Saturday 5th April 2014.
We will not know the flight times until much closer to the Tour. Because the flights are from Manchester, please note that there is a possibility that we may have to leave very late on Friday 28th March, and may arrive home in the early hours of Sunday 6th April. |
